Materials handling in all directions with Combilift

IRISH specialist forklift manufacturer Combilift Ltd produces a wide range of customised handling solutions, from pedestrian pallet stackers, four-way forklifts and sideloaders, up to straddle carriers, which can transport oversized loads weighing 80 tonnes. The exhibits at this year’s Tube Düsseldorf are a selection of the company’s products, all designed for the safe, space- saving and productive handling of the long and bulky loads typically encountered in the tube and pipe sector. The manoeuvrability and versatility of Combilift’s models means that they can be deployed from the initial stages of offloading raw materials, during the manufacturing process, through to the storage and dispatch of finished product. Exhibits include models from Combilift’s original core C-Series. This product range is available with LP gas, diesel and electric/battery power. Mast options offer lift heights up to 9m and capacities of up to 25,000kg. The C-Series Combilift can work in guided aisles as narrow as 210cm. These robust trucks work inside and out, and on uneven terrain in all weathers, making them robust and reliable workhorses for universal applications in the yard and warehouse. Sideways travel with loads resting on the platform also offers greater stability and safer manoeuvring. Combilift continues to add to its product range by introducing at least one new model a year, so even if you think you know what Combilift has to offer it is worth paying a visit to the stand to find out what is new. Pedestrian reach stackers are a growing part of the portfolio, and are suitable for handling lighter palletised or long loads to ensure safe working conditions. The Combi- WR4 multidirectional pedestrian reach stacker is claimed to be the only truck of its kind to work in an aisle width of 2.1m, and its patented multi-position tiller allows push button rotation of the rear wheel parallel from the tiller to the chassis and back for enhanced operator safety.
