Erocarb SA, which recently marked its 40 th anniversary, has long experience in the area of extrusion crossheads and tooling for the cable and tube industry, and customers from all over the world. The extensive product catalogue can be adapted to most extrusion elds, such as insulation, sheathing/jacketing, lling-sheathing, triple-layer CV lines, at ribbon, irrigation or medical tubes. A new product range is emerging with extrusion crossheads dedicated to LS0H/HFFR products or for high-speed production lines, such as the E8VN11, a new intermediate size crosshead.

The AWOS absorbs all wire straightening imperfections from the roller straightener, ensuring at mesh panels regardless of wire and straightening quality. It is fully programmable and capable of processing all types of material, smooth or ribbed. A single coil replaces all line wire de-coiling stations, and a double line and cross wire de-coiling station ensures continuous operation. Minimal stocks of wire spools and coils are required, and the necessity for a large stock of ready mesh, as in conventional welding lines, is eliminated. Multiple diameter changes during one day/shift can be achieved e ciently due to the single coil line wire feeding. The AKK series is equipped with independent heavy-duty hydraulic or pneumatically operated welding heads. Due to programmable cross wire placement, di erent cross wire spacing is possible within the same mesh. Mesh advances either through an accurate servo-driven carrier or through a compact layout servo-driven roller feeder. The in-line mesh turning and collection table is equipped with adjustable mesh aligning aps for perfect mesh batches. Roller or laterally discharging chain conveyors with height adjustment and in-line mesh bundling stations are available, along with remote access via Internet for troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Eurobend GmbH will demonstrate the new AKK series, a high-output exible welding machine that eliminates all line wire de-coiling stations. The advantages of o -coil and pre-cut welding machines are combined in one machine. The AKK series machines are capable of producing large and small batch orders consecutively, without downtime. The concept behind the AKK series allows automatic mesh spacing and dimension changes; Eurobend says that this makes it the only exible high-production coil-fed mesh welding line, as it can produce all mesh types instantly without any adjustments.
