Updated cable winding with semi-automatic system
The intuitive control panel allows the operator to easily set the winding parameters and monitor the status of the machine, while the automatic counter spindle system and the semi-automatic
wire hooking system further simplify operations, reducing set-up times and increasing productivity. Elav Srl www.elav.it
The Double Take Up ADS1600 from Elav Srl is a semi-automatic double winder designed for large-diameter reels (up to 1,600mm), and offers a combination of performance, compact design and ease of use. The ADS1600 minimises downtime by using a dual-station structure. While one reel is being wound, the other is ready to be replaced, ensuring a continuous and optimised workflow. The automatic reel changeover is fast and easy, reducing manual operations. The automatic counter-spindle system adapts to the type of selected reel, eliminating the need for manual adjustment and ensuring consistent and precise winding. with a brushless motor, ensures even distribution of the material on the reel, while the “telescopic” system facilitates the insertion of the cable into the clamping jaw. The cable layering system, For more than 30 years, Eurotek has been offering solutions for companies specialising in the production of electrical cables, pipes and extrusion lines. The company’s accumulated know-how and experience in this field, along with qualified staff and modern equipment, allow it to offer dedicated services and customised products. Prototyping, design, construction and testing – each step in the development of its products, from the initial customer request, is followed within the company. This allows optimal control over the progress of the production process, as well as creating quality products, customised to the actual operational needs of each client company.

range of polymers, allowing the resulting cables to work at greater depths. Eurotek’s extrusion heads are designed for a range of applications such as fibre optic cables, flat cables, fluoropolymers and technopolymers. The company has developed enhanced quick colour change and flow inverter systems that reduce downtime, scratches and aspect defects – particularly important in the automotive cable industry. The company also manufactures a wide range of standard and customised extrusion tooling for every application, accompanied by spare parts for extrusion heads, air wipes and precision cutters. Eurotek states that it places a high value on the after-sales support provided to its customers – a crucial service for the customer and also a chance for Eurotek to develop and advance, as well as a chance to test itself and ensure effectiveness and results. As a result of the wide range of polymers and the customisation requirements of the market, rheological and thermal behaviour calculation has become an essential part of the design process. Eurotek’s extrusion heads can process products from less than 1mm up to 420mm. The ECMR420-MB is the largest head model ever designed by Eurotek, being 1,200mm in length, 700mm in external diameter and weighing 2.5 tons. It is designed for the application of the final sheath on submarine transmission cables and high-voltage cables up to 400 kV, which are designed for use in deep water with floating wind generators.
