Roll forming lines for complex stainless steel tube profiles using traction control

by a newly developed system; the line concept can be adapted for existing exchangeable plates (rafted design). Existing production tools will therefore be adopted with rack systems and universal saw and optimised for cutting complex profiles in a short time. In addition, SEUTHE has recently developed new flexible direct cold forming lines for the production of square and rectangular hollow sections directly from the metal strip having the following benefits: significant material savings of up to 10 per cent can be achieved by avoiding the detour of forming round tubes prior to forming the hollow sections; universal tool rollers are used for the entire dimensional range. This results in extremely short change-over times because there is no need to change the rollers. Rollers are automatically set for the new dimension; and warehouse costs can be reduced significantly as small batches can be produced profitably and in good time with the latest FCF technology.
