Company’s drive for children

S&E Specialty Polymers LLC recently sponsored its second annual charity golf tournament at the Sterling National Country Club in Sterling, MA, in support of Life is good Playmakers, the non-profit action arm of The Life is good Company. The Play Fore Playmakers tournament was a great success, with all profits from registrations, donations and sponsorships donated directly to the Playmakers organization. On 25 th August Duane Shooltz, president and COO, and Jay Munsey, national sales director of S&E, presented Life is good Playmakers with a check for Allied Wire & Cable has added two instalments to its Cable Basics video series: ‘Shielding and armor’ and ‘Insulation and jacketing’ have joined ‘Cable basics 101: conductors’. Life is good Playmakers helps young children hurt by trauma, such as violence, abuse, poverty and illness. The organization provides comprehensive support to early childhood professionals – such as teachers, social workers and medical specialists – dedicated to caring for these at-risk children. To date, Life is good Playmakers has supported over 4,000 care providers nationwide.
