Bakheet Al-Rashidi Minister of oil and minister of electricity & water

The deputy head for marketing at Iran’s Esfahan Steel Company, Ehsan Dashtiyaneh, has announced that Iran has exported over 5,000 tons of rebar to Britain and, he added, the company has held talks with UK buyers to sign agreements in a bid to export more rebar. The product is worth $505 per ton, he said, adding that the company is the first Iranian steel maker yet to receive UK care certification for ingot and rebar production. Receiving the certificate makes it possible to export rebar to the UK. Iran’s Esfahan Steel Company exports rebar to 15 countries and aims to raise its exports to over one million tons.

The Kuwaiti minister of oil, and minister of electricity and water, Bakheet Al-Rashidi has announced a deal worth $42 million for the import and assembly of XLPE insulated cables and fiber optics. A statement said that the 132kV cables will be used mainly in the new expansion to the Kuwait International Airport.
