CIMTEQ showcased its flagship products CableBuilder and CableMES, a manufacturing execution system specifically for the wire and cable manufacturing industry, at the recent wire China exhibition. Yufei Du, business development manager, APAC, and Matt Rowlands, manufacturing systems engineer, were on hand to welcome visitors to the newly branded stand. Mr Du said: “This year’s exhibition has been a great success with the opportunity to meet many wire and cable industry professionals. We did multiple demonstrations each day on both CableMES and CableBuilder and had a 107 per cent uplift on the number of leads generated compared to 2016. We had experts available to demonstrate the capabilities of both CableBuilder and CableMES. “Over the last few years, Cimteq has taken a strategic approach to develop the Chinese market and wire China is the fitting platform to meet professionals from the wire and cable manufacturing industry. We have had some excellent exposure at the exhibition and look forward to working with contacts we have met over the last few days.” In the past year, Cimteq won a significant contract from a leading cable manufacturer for the design and manufacturing of cables, to implement CableBuilder in its design and manufacturing hub in China.
