❍ The TCD-10 from Ajex and Turner

VNT dies were the centre of attraction for visitors to the Ajex and Turner stand at the 2017 wire Southeast Asia exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand. Being low in cost but higher in output, with an additional metal-saving feature, the VNT dies gathered the attention and many visitors opted for these dies for their future production. For complex applications, the company’s sector/trapezoidal dies were also appreciated. Many new customers visited the booth and witnessed the company’s upgraded, three-head wire polishing and regrinding machine WPM-3, which grinds and polishes angles and bearings of three dies at one time. Visitors showed keen interest in the machine after a live demonstration. Though Ajex is continuously involved in developing different technologies in the field of wire dies, tooling and machines, the company is still learning from customers of their needs with the VNT and sector/trapezoidal dies.
