Tsubaki Kabelschlepp’s Uniflex Advanced 1775 (UA1775) cable carrier has been expanded with new sizes and features. The lightweight, quiet carrier is used for a wide range of applications, including in automotive production, gantries and axes, intralogistics, material flow and material handling, cranes and machine tool manufacturing, the timber industry, agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles. The UA1775 is available with an inner height of 56mm and in widths between 100 and 400mm for the designs 020 (closed frame), 030 (with outside opening and detachable crossbars) and 040 (with inside opening and detachable crossbars). The durable cable carrier system can be used with or without pre-tension and also unsupported and gliding on long travel lengths. The four-part chain links are designed so that the individual parts require only IQJET, launched at the interpack trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany, is suited to the direct coding and marking of products and packaging. It can be used in the food and consumer goods sectors (FMCG), as well as for applications in the industrial sector. It promises “plug and print” performance and consistently high print quality, without the need for cleaning. Requiring no scheduled maintenance for a full five years, the IQJET was designed to give manufacturers a better experience when working with continuous ink jet (CIJ). Its operating costs are claimed to be as much as 30 per cent lower than conventional systems. “With the IQJET, we can now give our customers even more confidence – and serenity – that everything is working as it should 24/7 when they’re marking products,” said CEO Christina Leibinger. “From the moment production begins, with the IQJET, it always runs smoothly and without any delays. new divider is used for vertical division within the cable carrier as standard. The complete divider system can be adjusted in the cross section and can also be used individually as a lockable TS0. The TS1 version with continuous height separation is another variant. The UA1775 offers simple installation of cables and hoses: the crossbars can be opened and closed quickly, with just two steps in each case. A screwdriver is the only tool required. The crossbar remains attached to the chain link even when open, and can therefore not be lost. The Smart.Efficiency assistance system autonomously ensures that the IQJET’s operating costs are kept to a minimum. It offers a low consumption of ~2.7cc/h for MEK inks. Ink cartridges are fully emptied and do not require separate disposal. Most of the IQJET’s components are manufactured in Leibinger’s factory in Germany and are subject to stringent quality controls. The system’s design does not require a continuously running feed pump, which minimises wear and tear. An operating cost calculator is available on Leibinger’s website. The TS3 system features a height separation with intermediate plastic partitions, while the narrow end divider on the outer sides ensures space-saving utilisation inside the cable carrier. Numerous interfaces, including OPC UA and an integrated PLC, ensure easy integration into the production line. Operation is intuitive and can be mastered without any prior knowledge. The manufacturer states that the IQPRINT technology ensures 100 per cent reliable printing performance with consistent print quality. When not in use, the entire ink circuit, including the print nozzle, is sealed airtight and the ink continues to circulate. Regular The new Leibinger IQJET intelligent coding and marking system
