Customised metal wire that can be optimised for a wide range of electronic applications based upon the required design properties such as corrosion and resistance is available from Anomet Products of Massachusetts, USA. Anomet precious metal clad products are metallurgically bonded and can be fabricated in a variety of configurations providing greater ductility and formability than electroplated products to meet demanding applications. Featuring smooth, pinhole-free surfaces, metal clad composite wire, rod and ribbon can be formulated to withstand extremes such as high temperatures and corrosion-resistance and also comply with RoHS and REACH requirements. Typically incorporating two per cent or more cladding thickness, Anomet precious metal clad products are uniformly dense, will not crack or flake, and can be fabricated as wire in sizes from 0.05mm to 3.175mm OD, and as ribbon up to 25.4mm width.
