It will also showcase safe remote control of lines or equipment to accelerate di agnosis and technical support; efficient electrical heating annealing; offline gal vanising; lead-free patenting by polymer solutions; and upgrading existing equip ment to meet European safety standards. requires less tool changing for material dimension changes. EJP’s new centre-less grinding machine for bars is claimed to increase precision and flexibility of bar grinding. The newly developed machine has four powered polishing discs. In contrast to conventional systems, the relationship between the feed rate and speed of the bar can be changed at the push of a button without stopping production. The TQC 2.0 laser-optical 3D straightness measuring system for bars enables optimisation of the two-roll straightener in an in-line process. Developed in collaboration with Q-Tech, an Italian producer of measurement systems, the system can measure bars with diameters down to 5mm. Measurement data is saved on a server, to form the basis for the optimum setting of the two-roll straightening machine virtually in real time.

This is the case with a new product range dedicated to LS0H/HFFR products, or for high-speed production lines such as the E4VN11, E8VN11 or E14VN11 crossheads. As demonstrated by the recent E4HN31 project, whether there are one, two, three, four or even five extruders, Erocarb can find the solutions for its customers’ needs. At wire 2022, Erocarb will present its new product line for foamextrusion (regulated bypass module, skin-foam-skin crosshead and injection unit ESA-03 with Industry 4.0 features). The system measures both overall straightness as well as individual, freely definable reference lengths. This allows bars that do not meet client specifications to be identified and graded or sorted out. Linear transducers are used to detect the position of the bar with higher measurement accuracy.
