customised to meet the production needs, and to provide reference materials such as the exclusive Die Training Handbook. The company supports clients through installation, training and troubleshooting for the life of the machine. Die Quip has a network of industry representatives that can support, translate and train in the user’s facility. Die Quip www.diequip.com 10 C42-01 Offering innovative and high-value added concepts with more than 75 years of expertise in the field of reconditioning die working equipment, Eder-Austria will present its machines in Hall 10 at wire 2022, showing a variety of technological developments in drawing die tool working machines. The company’s machines allow users to benefit through longer life of dies and higher tonnage drawn; accurate reconditioning of the die; durability with minimal maintenance costs; lower operational cost; reduction of manpower (due to high degree of built in automation); easy operation; and the experience and after-sales support of Eder-Austria. display in Düsseldorf will include die tool processing machines for the repair and/ or production of ultra-hard tungsten carbide, diamond and PCD precision die tools (in standard, semi-automatic and automatic configurations); die workshop ancillary equipment (cleaning/measuring devices, microscopes); technical assis- tance programmes (installation, training, die-reconditioning); and die tool working materials (diamond powders, pastes, suspensions and grinding-, sizing- and measuring pins). around the world, the company carefully selects the right pigments for dilution and dispersion in the polymers and compounds used. These selections facilitate high-speed production with colour consistency, as well as maintaining electrical insulation and fire-resistance requirements, including recent CPR regulations. In addition, Delta Tecnic offers its expertise to match the custom colour to suit the customer’s needs, as well as its raw material bases for the subsequent creation of the desired colour. Delta Tecnic https://deltatecnic.com Die Quip 09 D06-1 As a global manufacturer, Die Quip has established a line of machines to grind, polish and size dies in a quick, efficient, accurate process, eliminating operator error and guesswork.
Examples of Eder machines will be presented live by Eder staff and/or on a video wall. These will include ETC-1/ HF tungsten carbide die grinding and polishing equipment with a large work range of 0.7 to 20mm diameter; ETC-2 LS for sizing and polishing tungsten carbide dies in the larger bore size range of 1 to 40mm; and the new ETC-3 EL – a larger unit that works round TC dies with bore sizes up to 70mm. The USP-Twin for refurbishing PCD dies is an ultrasonic machine with two workstations, which can efficiently work all die sizes in a range from 0.05 to 8mm diameter. It can be operated by a single person, doubling output. Other equipment shown will be the ultrasonic model USP-115 and the high-speed wire type HGM-21 sizing/calibrating machine. Experts on the Eder stand will include Dr Kurt Eder, Willi Eberhardt, Bernhard Eder, Marina Eder, Christoph Trauner and international Eder representatives. Eder Engineering GmbH www.eder-eng.com 09 A12 EJP will introduce three new develop- ments to make the production of bars and tubes easier and more efficient: a chaintrack drawing unit, a centre-less grinding machine and a laser-optical straightness measuring system. Drawing lines using a chaintrack unit, instead of the traditional method based on cams and carriages, have usually been built for drawing forces of up to 2.5 tons, up to 10mm diameter materials, and maximum drawing speeds of 250m/min. EJP’s new chaintrack unit has a drawing force of up to 12.5 tons for starting material up to 28mm in diameter. The machine is a further development of EJP’s patented solution. Compared to the two-carriage principle, it has the advantage of working at a very even speed throughout the entire drawing process, resulting in increased productivity, especially for stainless steel. The new machine can also be used for finished material or pre-drawing copper tube because, despite the high drawing force, it processes the material gently. No pressure is applied to the chains of the chaintrack unit because the drawing is decoupled from the opening and closing of the drawing jaws. As the jaws always run parallel to the direction the material is moving in, they protect the surface of the wire or tube. The new design also EJP Maschinen GmbH

Better dies pull more wire and cause fewer production problems, so Die Quip has designed stand-alone machines for finishing dies in all sizes; for larger production runs, thecompanybuildswork cells to increase efficiency and eliminate downtime from size changeovers. Die Quip says that its approach to a modern die shop brings benefits to the whole production process by implementing a workflow system that sets procedures and incorporates training to maximise each machine’s capabilities. The company has designed extensive training options and on-site consultations that teach operators how to use the equipment, and how to choose diamond tooling for maximum results and different methods of making dies. Die Quip technicians will spend time in customers’ facilities to design programs
