Expanding manufacturing capacity and capabilities to meet client needs

We have also added the capability to fabricate penstock utilising sub arc welding and improved pipe spooling process utilising orbital welding. Surround Technologies designs and manufactures modular prefabricated steel enclosures and the integration of generators, electrical gear, mechanical and control systems. Advanced Flow Systems specialises in the fabrication of custom-engineered ASME welding projects including pipe spooling, tanks and vessels, penstock, helical coils and large-scale pipe fabrications.

Surround Technologies and its sister company Advanced Flow Systems, part of AdvanTec Global Innovations, have added new equipment, staff and expanded manufacturing capacity to meet increasing customer demand in the areas of custom enclosures, pipe welding and other industrial contract manufacturing projects. Supported by the acquisition of new contracts, the management team has completed a plan to double manufacturing capacity. Anthony Van Grol, general manager of Surround Technologies and Advanced Flow Systems, said, “We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment including a 115T lift crane, which grants us the flexibility to lift and move extremely heavy and large enclosures as well as piping loads, thus reducing labour and loading time.
