Plastic Pipes Welding brings McElroy machines to Middle East

McElroy fusion machines have a new home in the Middle East, with the opening of Plastic Pipes Welding’s facility in Dubai, UAE. The new company is developing relationships with customers there to provide thermoplastic pipe-welding solutions with the sales, rental and service of McElroy fusion equipment. CEO Jose Ramon Arístegui has been a distributor of McElroy machinery and accessories in Europe and Northern Africa for 14 years. His Dubai company is supported by staff at Arístegui Maquinaria in Barcelona, Spain, which has more than 38 years’ experience in the fusion industry. “From my years of experience, I understand the industry and believe there are numerous and real customer

needs for this type of machinery in the Middle East region,” said Mr Arístegui. “We understand it is very important for the client to have the machines as soon as possible with very short delivery times. Titanium USA 2019 The 35 th annual conference and exhibition of the International Titanium Association (ITA) will be held at the Mobile Convention Center in Alabama, USA, from 22 to 25 September. Presentations at Titanium USA 2019 will host a variety of topics, including world titanium supply and demand trends; powder metallurgy/additive manufacturing; commercial aerospace; and medical technology. The second “anTi Corrosion day” will be dedicated to topics serving the global industrial markets. The International Titanium Association is a non-profit membership-based trade group, established in 1984. The association’s mission is to connect the public with member organisations who may provide technical and sales assistance.
