Nisshin Steel reinforces trust in Ebner know-how FOR many years, Japan’s Nisshin Steel Co, Ltd has been placing its trust in HICON/H 2 ® annealing technology. With the placement of an order for a new facility, the total number of HICON/H 2 workbases installed at the company will increase to 55. The new facility will include four heating bells, six HICON/H 2 workbases and two cooling bells, and will modernise the production of cold-rolled steel strip coils. All required supplementary equip- ment, such as the hydraulic system, pressure control system, water recool- ing system, emergency nitrogen supply connections and the complete electrical system, will be supplied by Ebner. To operate the facility, it will be integrated into the existing process control system (PCS). The facility will be ready to start production in 2020.
