SCV continues expansion SCV Valve has reached the third phase of its plans for expansion to accommodate market demands.

For the second phase, in early 2017 the company broke ground on a 15,000ft 2 shipping, receiving and finished goods warehousing expansion, completing the project in the summer of the same year. This has enhanced the safety and efficiency of loading and unloading activities, and includes two loading docks, finished goods storage and a full-

span bridge crane with ten tons of lifting capacity. Phase 3, which commenced last summer, is for a 20,000ft 2 finished goods warehouse, to increase on-site dry storage capability for ready-to-ship inventory. This expansion includes two full-span bridge cranes with a combined 20 tons of lifting capacity.

Phase 1 involved a 25,000ft 2 large bore valve manufacturing expansion, which was completed in 2016. This increased the assembly area for 24" and larger valves and provided additional space for testing, painting, final inspection and shipping.
