If the product to be strapped is particularly delicate, for example painted or stainless steel tubes, Itipack can offer automatic strapping machines that use polyester straps and vibration welding systems, so as not to damage the product during strapping and handling. The polyester straps are manufactured by sister company Itistrap, which is able to produce straps with a maximum width of 32mm. In addition to the simple strapping of tube or profile, the machines can be equipped with an automatic system for inserting wooden and/or protection profiles, as well as systems for marking and labelling the beams. Itipack’s production flexibility allows customised solutions based on the specific applications of the end user. The development of the plant begins, in most cases, with a careful analysis of customer needs.

the strapping process allows increased safety for the operators beside the packaging line. For bundling tubes or profiles, Itipack recom- mends automatic strap- ping machines that can use steel or polyester strapping, depending on product specifications. For steel straps, the machines can work with up to 19, 25 or 32mm strap widths with a maximum thickness of 1.45mm. Such an application was also recently extended to bundles of small diameter tubes.
