The Weldac series covers a wide range of power sizes from 50 kW up to 2,200 kW, and a frequency range of 90- 500 kHz. The Weldac is supported by a global network of EFD Induction factories, workshops and offices. Wherever cus- tomers are, after-sales service and support is not far away. “EFD Induction has always been at the forefront in developing equipment with the best power-to-volume ratio. Recently, we introduced the world’s first 1,000 kW welder in a single cabinet solution,” said Mr Runeborg. “We now also offer up to 1,100 kW in a single cabinet.” EFD Induction has to date installed thousands of heating solutions for a wide range of industrial applications, bringing the benefits of induction technology to many manufacturing and service companies. While the IGBT transistor is still the main power transistor with high-current capability – and in the solid-state Weldac system – EFD Induction will be introducing SiC transistors as an alternative in certain welders. “The testing yielded very promising results, and the silicon carbide transistor that we have found to be the best has proven to work extremely well. of parts during bending operations and tube forming is ensured, with measurement in real time. VGP3D programming software for tube benders by BLM Group can also be used in the 4-Runner H1. Three- dimensional graphic programming of the piece is made simple and intuitive, and a simulation of the execution avoids multiple attempts during the production stage. In order to supply the coil, the 4-Runner H1 is equipped with a new reel with clutch, which allows it to work in neutral with commands inserted by the work program. Orbital cutting, both internal (4RIPC) and external (4RC), on the 4-Runner H1 is also electrical.
