Officine MTM SpA delivers third steel tube mill to Canada-based Acier Fati Steel

OFFICINE MTM SpA has delivered its third complete tube mill to Acier Fati Steel Inc, a steel tube producer in Canada. This is the second complete tube mill designed and supplied by MTM in North America this year and has been installed at Acier Fati Steel’s existing plant in Varennes, Quebec, Canada to enlarge its product portfolio. Currently, the Varennes division serves the needs of the automotive, agriculture, appliance, building and construction, energy and machinery industries. Roll-Kraft expands engineering depar tment ROLL-KRAFT has announced the appointment of Anthony Romito to the engineering department at its head- quarters location in Ohio, USA. much of his experience with various applications regarding resistance welding fixtures.

Mr Romito has been actively engaged with machine operators and technicians and is proficient in various troubleshooting situations. According to Roll Kraft, his know- ledge of CNC machining will be of considerable benefit to him in this new position.

Mr Romito holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron, which is based in Ohio, USA. Mr Romito has considerable experi- ence in the design and optimisation of roll form tooling for new and existing fixturing. He was previously an engineer at Superior Roll Forming, where he gained
