It has now shifted its focus from the southern European steel supply chain to the international one, expanding its area of influence and attractiveness.
THE tenth edition of Made in Steel, the international conference and exhibition dedicated to the steel supply chain, will be held at fieramilano Rho from 9 to 11 May 2023. The announcement was made during the webinar ‘Made in Steel – The supply chain beyond black swans’, organised by siderweb – La community dell’acciaio (The steel community). More than 184 exhibitors, 22 of them arriving from abroad, participated in Made in Steel 2021 covering an exhibition area of about 10,000m 2 . A total of 15 different countries were represented by exhibitors and in total 13,505 visitors came from 68 countries. The 2023 event will be sponsored by BPER Banca. Italian tube producer selects Thermatool’s HF welding solution

PROFILTUBI in Reggiolo, Italy and its subsidiary Officine Metallurgiche Ventura SpA (OMV) in Lesmo, Italy have purchased five Thermatool solid state HF welders. This new equipment will replace existing welder technology with the latest high efficiency technology, which ensures maximum productivity. The Thermatool welders come with the latest Thermaview operator HMI systems, allowing real-time data display and integrated interactive information, including Industry 4.0 communication capability for data exchanges with customers SCADA systems. The investment will further drive the company’s high-quality expectations using the latest technologies for high quality production of tube and pipe. Thermatool’s ‘Proven Performance and Process Control’ uses patented technologies.
