BLECH India returns to Mumbai in 2019 THE sixth edition of BLECH India, an exhibition for the sheet metal working industry, will be held from 25 to 27 April 2019, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India. Taking place in the newly built Hall 4, the exhibition will build on the success of the five previous events. customers, agents and partners in India. The exhibition was an opportunity for exhibitors to raise brand awareness within this vibrant and growing market. Exhibitors and visitors were quick to give positive feedback, with exhibitors commenting on the high quality of visitors.

The exhibition attracted visitors from many key industry sectors. The greatest number of visitors came from the mechanical engineering industry sector (31 per cent), and sheet metal products, components and assemblies (28 per cent). Visitors from steel and aluminium construction (7 per cent), automotive industry and related suppliers (5 per cent), and iron and steel production (3 per cent) were also in attendance. As in previous years, BLECH India 2017 was co-located with Fastener Fair India 2017, which welcomed 3,632 trade visitors and 187 exhibiting companies. The fastener and fixing technology exhibition will return to New Delhi in 2018.

Encouraged by India’s manufacturing initiative ‘Make in India’, the fifth edition of BLECH India, held in 2017, demonstrated the campaign’s intention to foster entrepreneurship and facilitate business opportunities on a global scale. An audience of 4,568 attended the show – an increase of more than 20 per cent, compared to the previous edition held in 2015. 151 exhibitors from ten countries helped to make the event an international networking experience.
