Tidyco invests £150k in new machinery TIDYCO, a supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic products to the UK rail industry for more than 40 years, has invested £150,000 in state-of-the-art tube bending machinery. procured from Addison Saws and other local suppliers. The former mayor of Derby, John Whitby, officially opened the manufacturing plant expansion at a ceremony.

The CNC tube bending machine includes a programmable robotic measuring arm coupled with machine- to-machine technology. The invest- ment will allow Tidyco to rationalise outsourcing activity to provide cost- effective solutions to its clients. The expansion contributes towards Tidyco’s commitment to smart manu- facturing, addressing Industry 4.0 subject matters. Tidyco is appropriately Cyber Essentials certified. The company supports the govern- ment ‘Industrial Strategy and Midlands Engine’ initiative, which aims to support ongoing investment and contribute towards manufacturing growth in the region.
