Buigstaal Tube Bending Alkmaar, the Netherlands, is a supplier of tube bending services for petrochemical projects. The company has just completed 3 projects for petrochemical plants in the Middle East. The three projects were 1,249 pigtails (UNS N08811 and TP304H) for Technip USA, 2,500 pigtails (UNS N08811 and TP347H) for KTI USA, and 864 internally finned tubes (353 MA/UNS S35315) for Sandvik, Sweden. Buigstaal was awarded these projects due to its in-house quality systems and bending/

machining capabilities. Work includes bending of tubes up to 13m, multiple radii tube bending, and machining of tube ends. The projects were carried out under specific material test procedures, with cutting, beveling, bending, packing and transportation of the products.  The Ercolina CE35 angle roll

Standard universal tooling adjusts easily to most material profiles. A side mounted lateral roller system adjusts as necessary to create a coil effect in the workpiece. There is also centre roll movement controlled manually of centre roll with visible scale for position reference and repeating location. All drive shafts mounted in conical roller bearings reduce the number of passes and increase workpiece consistency. Single-phase 220v connection makes this machine ideal for shop and jobsite fabrication, tube and pipe, ornamental iron, custom automotive frame and other applications.
