TRU-CUT Saw Inc, along with PLATIT custom coating division from Switzerland, have developed and in- stalled a large PVD coating chamber, dedicated to coating metal cutting circular saw blades up to 56" in diameter. The new PL2011 at Tru-Cut Saw sits alongside the PL1001 and PL2001 PVD coating chambers inside the saw blade production facility in Ohio, US and increases the company’s daily coating capacity by 225 per cent and extends its overall coating diameter from 50" to 56". The company also plans to install additional CNC grinding machines to its saw blade production centre this year.
