Welcome to the latest Tube & Pipe Technology magazine, which is a special Tube Düsseldorf issue. I hope that within its pages you will find all of the information you require during your stay in Germany.

Inside you will discover a full list of exhibitors and their stand numbers to help guide you around the vast exhibition (see page 120). We also have in-depth information on many of the innovative new products that are being exhibited, in our Düsseldorf Exhibitor Section, which starts on page 138. The magazine is a media partner of the show and is being distributed in several key locations. We will be in the main entrance hall (EN03) and I will be based in Hall 4, Stand B27. Do come and pick up some extra copies or to say hello and rest your weary feet. The event never fails to impress me with its outstanding levels of organisation. Nothing else offers such a multitude of international networking opportunities. With well in excess of 1,000 exhibiting companies, Tube once again broke its exhibitor record in 2014 (and has grown eight- fold since the first show in 1988). I fully expect 2016 to be equally spectacular.

The results achieved by the company during recent years confirm that the choice, made just a few years ago, to focus its activity on engineering and manufacturing of brand-new equipment, instead of overhauling and servicing second-hand lines, was a successful and important step.
