Development of saw blade technology TENRYU Saw Mfg Co, a producer of tungsten carbide/cermet tipped circular saw blades for various materials, celebrated its 100 th anniversary in 2013. The company has followed the market and continuously developed products to satisfy growing demand for smooth and possible to use throwaway type blades economically, up to saw blade sizes of approximately 1m. These products not only offer a constant life time, but allow stable calculation for running production and future investments. Another objective of in-house R&D is

to provide very thin blades to generate saving of material and energy, and reduce machine wear – important concerns, given the continued shortage of raw material and increasing cost of energy. The availability of Tenryu products is secured by expansion of sales networks and stocks around the world by subsidiaries in Japan, Thailand, China, India, USA, Mexico and Germany, and cooperation in many other countries. accurate cutting to avoid machining of cut surface, increased life time, and for short cutting times. Tenryu followed the development of cutting machines and gave input for their improvement and application to cut materials which in the past could not be cut by this method, such as Duplex and Super Duplex, high alloyed steel and titanium. Development of tooth materials, tooth shapes, material of saw body and coatings, together with continuous adaptation of the latest production technologies, made it

Hydrostatic gravity filtration AGR Filtri’s gravity filtration system with high hydrostatic head type HFS is used to remove metal particles produced by industrial processes such as HF welded tube production lines and profile mills and found suspended in liquid lubrocoolants. to be filtered, the size of the HFS filter is smaller and therefore higher degrees of filtration are reached, reducing consumption of the filtering fabric.

are used when there is a high content of ferrous particles suspended in the liquid to be treated. Magnetic filters are able to eliminate a large part of the pollutant magnetic particles before they reach the filtering bag of the hydrostatic filter, allowing a reduction in the clogging and feeding cycles of the filtering fabric.

The standard production of HFS hydrostatic strainers is available for flow rates up to 4,000l/min. All of AGR’s hydrostatic strainers can be equipped, upon request, with a magnetic filter in order to submit the liquid to be filtered to a preliminary filtration treatment. The HFSM series hydrostatic filtration systems, combined with magnetic filters,

The high level of liquid held by the filtering bag and the high pressure exerted by the liquid increases efficiency of the filtering fabric. Compared with traditional flat bed gravity filtration systems, with the same flow rate of liquid
