Manila Water switches to PE pipe

Borealis claims that BorECO’s corrosion, abrasion and chemical resistance can provide pipes with long-term durability of at least 100 years, ensuring protection of the environment by preventing leaks.

Manila Water’s decision to switch from PVCu to PE as its preferred pipe material has brought about a change in the products it sources from pipe joint and repair specialist, Viking Johnson. The Philippines water company’s latest annual supply contract specifies AquaFast couplings and flange adaptors in place of the MaxiFit range it previously used.
