Stainless steel valves, pipes and fittings

Special coupling for security and access control to silos Serv Trayvou, France, has launched a new version of its Guillemin-type joint coupling. Due to its strength in aggressive environments and its ease of use, the RGV joint coupling ensures security of fluids (water, gas, nitrogen, chlorine etc) and goods (cereals etc) via an interlock key transfer system.

The joint coupling is fixed to the tube of a silo. In order to connect to the silo, the operator must obtain the corresponding coded key from the manager of the container shipping. Each silo has a single corresponding key, to avoid improper mixing and product loss. Two versions of the coupling are available: mechanical and solenoid. The RGV system respects norms associated to the silo decree from 23 February 2007, and ensures risk management. Keys of coupling joints can be consigned on a key exchange box with one key entry (TMEC type), and so prevent key overriding without prior agreement from a manager.
