Technip secures new contracts TechnipFMC has been awarded a subsea contract by Murphy Sabah Oil for the Phase 1A Block H Gas Development Project, located in offshore Sabah, Malaysia, at a water depth of approximately 1,300m. The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of the umbilicals, risers and flowlines, as well as the transportation and installation of subsea hardware and controls. flowlines and the subsea production system for the Fenja Project (previously known as Pil & Bue). Fenja is located in the Norwegian Sea and will be tied back to the Njord platform. Mr Hasselknippe stated, “This is TechnipFMC’s sixth iEPCI TM award and the largest one to date. It is also our first major integrated project award. We are grateful to VNG for being an early mover

in embracing the iEPCI TM execution model and very happy to support their first E&P development as operator. The Fenja project will have the longest electrically trace heated (ETH) pipeline in the world at 37 km, and will benefit from multiple TechnipFMC product groups and engineering locations.” TechnipFMC – UK www.technipfmc.com
