More space is also being created to hold the company’s expanding range and Fixmart, a supplier to the construction, M&E and HVAC sectors, has invested in a new Bianco bandsaw machine that will enable its customers to order specific lengths of channel, tray and studding, and receive it on-site within 48 hours. While the Fixmart warehouse holds a wide range of pre-cut channel and studding, if a customer requested a specific size or a large quantity, it could take several weeks for the manufacturer to cut and deliver the required products. The company’s new Bianco bandsaw machine takes the process in-house, and as a result has significantly reduced this waiting period to 48 hours from the initial order. This enables customers to quickly respond to changes on-site without incurring additional labour costs or time penalties.
