Older machines can be taken in trade for a newer used machine or towards a quality-made new WiCa machine.” MMI has interest in locating individual machines, complete lines or entire plants for resale. Consignments, warehousing, rebuilding, appraisals and liquidation services are also o ered, serving the US and international ferrous and non-ferrous wire machinery markets. Metalube Ltd Stand: 11 G21

Metalube’s business was built around the production of lubricants for drawing non-ferrous wire and tubes. Its Lubricool, Alumol and Tubol products, along with OCG, a range of protective greases for overhead line conductors, are still a key part of the portfolio. More recent additions include wire rope lubricants and chain oils. The company states that it has recently enjoyed 20 per cent growth, partly attributable to strategic partnerships with Italian industrial uid specialist Bellini SpA and HL Blachford Ltd from the USA. Bellini now distributes the entire Metalube range of Lubricants across Italy, and Metalube India distributes Bellini’s metal cutting lubricants throughout India. The partnership between Blachford and Metalube focuses on selling Metalube’s non-ferrous copper and aluminium wire drawing lubricants across the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Metalube specialises in lubricants

Metalube has continued to invest back into the business with the introduction of mixing vessels and more energy- e cient production technology in the Irlam plant; the plant itself has grown by more than 50 per cent, with expansion into new premises next door and the purchase of a new manufacturing site nearby. Recently recruited business development manager Adrian Day will be present at the show to meet Metalube customers.
