EuroWire March 2020

wire 2020 show

30 March – 3 April

‘Smart Circle’. Leading technologies are integrated into the company’s lines and components, and visitors will be able to experience smart bu ering, roundness optimisation, defect detection, preventive maintenance, ‘Sim Factory’ and NCC curing calculation. Arti cial intelligence, with its neural networks and predictive models captured from real industry environments, is pushing production performance and product quality forward while ensuring that manufacturers stay in control of the demanding extrusion process. Two complete lines will be visible on the stand: a bre optic secondary coating line and a high-voltage CCV line. Using virtual reality, visitors will be able to go on an exploratory tour that reveals the designs and inner workings of the two lines. Maillefer Smart Monitoring will be at work during the show, taking a variety of data from the stand, then crunching, compiling, correlating and consolidating it into an informative display of the Smart Factory. Its exibility makes it a decisive tool for factory operation that adapts easily and evolves rapidly to individual needs. Other exhibits will include topography scanning of energy cable surfaces, a new dual take-up for telecom wire, a choice of crossheads and extruders for low-voltage and bre optic cables, and a tape folding system.

diameters from 1 to 18mm, suitable for mechanical and electrical applications such as fasteners, nails, rivets, screws, bolts, nuts, aerials, clips, electrical fencing, fences and metallisation. The company recently extended its range of diameters and introduced two new alloys grades – 6056 and 6082 for automotive applications. Man sa has also extended its product range for ller materials for GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding processes.

Man sa Stand: 11 G25

Manufacturas Irular SA (Man sa) is a Spanish company specialising in aluminium wire drawing and casting. The experience the company has gained since 1973 has enabled it to develop a wide range of productive wires. Man sa draws pure aluminium and aluminium alloys in a variety of

The company will also highlight the advantages of its solutions in relation to customer concerns regarding sustain- ability. Longer lengths, less scrap, optimum material consumption and tight tolerances, longer run times, equipment durability and extended lifecycles through services and upgrades are immediate answers that Maillefer provides. Maillefer will be joined on its stand by colleagues from Davis-Standard, as well as agents and representatives from around the world. ▲ Maillefer’s Topography Scanner for quality monitoring of power cables
