A new South entrance and Hall 1, more than 1,400 exhibitors lining up to meet 70,000 trade visitors from 80 di erent countries, and the complete value chain for fasteners and springs will cement wire 2020 as the most in uential event in the wire and cable calendar. It is now just days before the doors open at The Fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, to herald the opening of wire and Tube 2020. Exhibitors will ll the halls with the latest technology, eagerly anticipating visits from the trade who ood en-masse to the largest of exhibitions in the industry. Using a total net space of 120,000m 2 , those exhibitors will demonstrate the new technology, methods and machinery

that will keep the industry ahead as we start a new decade. The fasteners and springs section during the ve-day exhibition includes production machinery and technology, right through to the nished products in the form of fasteners, connectors and springs. Also for the rst time, there is a large-scale eco-metals campaign. Exhibitors who are committed to energy- saving production, material and resource e ciency, climate-compatible use of renewable energies or energy control can join in the campaign, which runs throughout the week.
