To prepare and clean the wire e ciently for the wire drawing process, Lämneå Bruk has an extensive rod preparation portfolio. In total, ve machines in di erent sizes and di erent wire types such as low and high carbon, stainless steel and welding wire are o ered. The reversed bending descaler is available in two sizes for wire diameters of up to 12mm. The second machine, the mechanical descaler by brushing, is equipped with an intelligent brush pressure detection system for extended lifetime of the brush. The sandpaper descaling machine has two sanding belts and a counter bearing for lower yer speeds, which gives perfect support for the bearings. The newest addition to the rod preparation portfolio is the mechanical descaler by waterjet. This compact machine only uses water and does not need any chemicals in the cleaning process. The cleaning and coating machine completes Lämneå Bruk’s descaling portfolio.
