suitable tools, as well as support during commission and guidance during trial operations. A highlight at the stand will be a 3D printer that will print parts for an add-on kit for soap boxes, which improves the supply of drawing lubricant for the transforming process. In addition, the exhibited drawing block can be viewed in detail through a virtual reality application, opening the way to new opportunities for plant operators.

It relies on customised solutions to meet customers’ requirements. It resolves cutting problems within the industry on-site, and specially develops and produces custom tools where needed. When Krenn took over the steel cutter and testing presses division of Kamax Tools & Equipment, Krenn supplemented its product range with hydraulic devices for cutting and straightening steel, as well as hydraulic upsetting presses for material testing. Kamax hydraulic steel cutters are robust and durable, and can cut up to a diameter of 50mm, even with high tensile steel wire. Kamax hydraulic straighteners are suitable for e ortless straightening of steel wire up to 42mm diameter. Kamax hydraulic presses, with a pressing force of 500kN to 5,000kN, are suited to compression testing of wire samples. They are also available as a double press with an integrated cutting device. Using the shearing device, the test piece for the upset test can be cut exactly to the desired length. The sample is ejected burr-free, and with even shear surfaces. Krenn is able to handle customers’ challenging cutting requirements with
