For the past 72 years, international representatives from the communications, data, electronics, power, industrial, automotive, aerospace and similar industries have gathered at the annual IWCS Forum for networking, learning and career and business growth. Taking place from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 October at the Rhode Island Convention Center, the event features the traditional elements of the IWCS Forum plus additional new components that highlight trending developments in sustainability, energy transition and broadband infrastructure. Attendees will have increased opportunities to visit supply chain leaders during this year’s event as a result of a new schedule structure and lunch concessions being added to the exhibition floor. The updated schedule begins on Monday with Professional Development Courses, followed by the Plenary Luncheon featuring a keynote speaker. Technical Symposium The cornerstone of the IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum is the Technical Symposium, which begins on Monday afternoon. Forty members of the IWCS board of directors and Symposium Committee, representing companies from ten different countries, met in April to review technical paper abstracts. Resulting from the strong response to the call for papers will be a high-calibre Technical Symposium featuring multiple technical presentations in each of the sessions listed below. Additional highlights of the Technical Symposium are the Executive Session, which features economic trends and similar executive management topics of interest, and a sustainability panel discussion.
