The IWMA stand will act as a central hub for the association’s members and guests, offering resources and networking opportunities to enrich the exhibition experience. The stand will feature on-site hospitality services, including refreshments, Wi Fi connectivity and meeting tables for business discussions or chats with colleagues. A range of printed material will be available, such as the latest IWMA Insider magazine, membership directories and booklets about up- coming events, exhibitions and the benefits of being part of the IWMA community. IWMA members will have the oppor- tunity to showcase their expertise and latest developments during the IWMA Member Presentations on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September. These presentations will take place in a dedicated area of the stand and will be translated by the on-stand translator, ensuring they reach a global and diverse audience.

The IWMA river cruise is a popular event

Because networking is at the heart of the IWMA’s mission, the association has announced the return of its evening networking event, the Shanghai Huangpu River Cruise, scheduled for Thursday 26 September. The 2019 cruise, for which all tickets were sold, featured clear skies, night-time views of Shanghai and a buffet of local cuisine and drinks. This year, to accommodate high demand, more tickets for the cruise have been secured. Guests will be collected from the IWMA stand at wire China and transported via coach to the dock for a two-hour cruise, before being returned to the exhibition hall or the Mercure Shanghai Century Park Hotel. Member companies are eligible for two complimentary tickets, with additional tickets available for purchase at €60 each.

The THC 50/90 crosshead will be exhibited

The components to be exhibited on the stand recognise the need for efficiency, evolving production demands and ever increasing precision. The line-up spans diverse industry needs, and will include an ECH 35/45 crosshead, a THC 50/90 crosshead and an EKP card rack replacement. The crosshead developments include centring techniques that are claimed to achieve exceptional centricity.
