Steel cable carriers are used in the tradi tional applications of heavy machinery manufacturing, steelworks, mining and deep drilling. Depending on the design, steel carriers can withstand temperature loads or application-dependent maximum values of up to 400°C for short periods; stainless steel versions can even withstand temperatures up to 1,000°C. They are also resistant to chemicals and radiation, and deliver performance on handling robots and manipulators in chemical plants.
