Thomas Holzer joins Troester management board

Kurre Systems – formed from Kurre Spezialmaschinenbau and Siebe Engineering – produces machines and lines for the wire and cable industry, and for other extrusion products. The company’s new rewinding line in portal design features an automated process, fast job changeover and gentle rewinding. The line allows fully automatic spool changing on the side of the payoff. This is achieved by the complete driving of the payoff. With precise sensor technology, the centre bores of the spools are detected, and the spools are picked up and brought to the winding position. Mechanical and plant engineering firm Troester GmbH & Co KG has announced that Thomas Holzer Dipl-Ing MBA joined the company’s management board on 1 March. In addition to the managing partner and CEO Dr Peter Schmidt and COO Bernd Pielsticker Dipl-Ing, Mr Holzer will in future be responsible for engineering and sales. Having three people sharing the management responsibility is intended to strengthen sustainability and the knowledge base in the company, while creating “new energy for organic growth and innovation”.
