Already widely used for stainless steel, oil tempered and aluminium wire, ultrasonic cleaning has recently been installed on galvanising lines in substitution for traditional lead baths for de-soaping. Sirio recommends the use of phosphoric acid-based products, which are low-acid, and not harmful to the operators.
