Mouton and Rivom merge to form Agir Technologies

1 st April this year was an important date for both Mouton and Rivom when they merged into one company – Agir Technologies – in order to optimise commercial and technical performances. Agir Technologies can take advantage of Mouton’s 50-year experience in the design and manufacturing of grinding machines and various machine tools dedicated to the machining and repairing of tools, in particular tungsten carbide wire drawing dies from 0.10-30mm. The company also produces shaving machines for ferrous and non-ferrous wires for top-of-the-range wires. Last year, Mouton also created a new universal grinding machine, the MU 210, to repair any shaving die and tool. Agir is one of the European leaders in tungsten carbide tools for wire and cable manufacturing and other wire transformation. The range includes wire drawing dies (round, shaped, pressure), drawing dies and plugs, cable extrusion tools, straightening tools, wire-guides, tools for welding rods and plated wires.
