Frequency converter

The frequency converter series IFC/S represents the latest generation of IGBT high-frequency converters, the result of ATE’s research and expertise. Construction is based on modular assemblies, offering reliable units with high conversion efficiency that can meet the most severe demands in induction heating applications. The high output power (up to 800kW) and a broad range of working frequencies (from 10 to 150kHz) means that they can be used in a wide range of applications including heat treatments of non-magnetic pieces, heating wires and bands with very small sections, both ferrous and non-ferrous, continuous annealing and welding of tubes and for precious castings in insulating crucibles.

Introducing calibrated single scan

“ ACID-FREE PROCESS FOR STEEL ROD CLEANING & SURFACE PREPARATION” “New Way to Draw Steel Wire in the 21 st Century”

DCCD process features: • Eliminates acid, borax and precoatings • Zero energy consumption • Direct drawing from bare rod with no speed limitation, for H/C and L/C • New Lubricant Viscosity Control provides exceptionally adherent coating • Adjustable lubricant residual • Zero lubricant waste • Recommended for severe drawing applications (spring, rope, bead, CO 2 welding, PC strand, plating quality) • H/C wire drawn at 18 m/s (3600 ft/min) • Up to 8 times longer die life • Exiting wire temp. 45°C (113°F) • Greatly improved wire ductility

ODAC® measuring heads equipped with the CSS technology, available as 1, 2 and 3 axis models ▲ ▲

Over three hundred so processed data packages can then be exported over a data port. With the new CSS technology higher measuring and data rates are combined with robustness and precision laser scanning. CSS is already available in a number of ODAC® laser heads. CSS technology invokes a number of detail improvements, possibly the most important being that each mirror is individually identified and its error characteristics stored in a chip. This means that each mirror is individually calibrated and that up to 1,200 measurements are available for further processing. A high-speed processor in the measuring head allows filtering and analysis of the measuring values (speed, product surface, dirt, water), depending on the process, and to configure the further processing for minimum, maximum average, ovality and fault detection.
