The city’s Krasnaya Presnya fairgrounds hosts wire Russia 2007 – considered
to be the biggest and best attended industry show in the CIS at the end
of May. With a backdrop of sophisticated shops and elegant restaurants,
Moscow has taken its lead fromWestern capitals of the world.
Now the city is also enticing the wire and cable industry – including
businesses from the Ukraine and other CIS countries – between

May. They will join more than 180 companies who are
covering 55,000m

of exhibition space as they strive to show off the latest
technological advances to potential customers.
International suppliers of wire, cable, springs and fastener technologies
have profited from the growth in the region which has seen a rise in the
Russian economy’s GDP of almost 7%.
