Straighteners redesign

Sjogren has redesigned its line of heavy duty (HD) straighteners to help manufacturers reduce costs and increase productivity. Using sleeve-style grooved rolls made from hardened tool steel the HD straighteners can accommodate large diameter wire and rod, while the customizable HD line can accommodate wire diameters of up to 30mm.

The frame has been redesigned using a modular concept, so enabling the HD0515 and HD1020 to accept wire diameters of 5mm to 20mm, while the HD1525 and HD1030 can accept 15mm to 30mm wire, simply by interchanging the rolls.

All models are easily adaptable to hydraulic quick opening.

Improvements to the range include a 20% decrease in weight.
