US-based Optical Communications (COC) is planning to build a new facility for optic fiber cable production in Poland. The plant will be situated in the town of Mszczonów in Żyrardów county. COC’s investment will be assisted by a grant from a state program that supports important economic investments. Corning
and development unit in Poland and a manufacturing plant in Stryków, near Łódź. COC plans to employ at least 240 people at the Mszczonów factory.
