Beta LaserMike has extend- ed its China sales team with the addition of Hans Liu as southern China sales manager, andMartinWang as China regional sales manager. Mr Liu will be based in the Spectris Guangzhou office (Beta LaserMike is a Spectris company) and Mr Wang will be based in the Spectris Shanghai office. “China is one of the fastest growingmarkets in the Asia- Pacific region and a priority market for us,” said Stuart Manser, Beta LaserMike’s China team additions

director of Asia sales. “Hans [Lui] will play a key role in developing industrial accounts in southern China. This is an extremely active area and home to many key international companies. The addition of Hans expands our presence in China which allows us to better serve our customers.” Mr Liu received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical design and manufacturing automation fromSouthChinaAgricultural University, and holds a master’s degree in elec- tronics and automation. Of Martin Wang, Mr Manser said: “Withhis solid technical and sales background

in optical measurement systems, Mr Wang has the key tools and experience to help us develop our gauging and controls business in China. His appointment is a key part of Beta LaserMike’s strategy to expand our footprint around the globe and to focus on the potential represented in China.” Mr Wang holds a bachelor’s degree from Liaoning (NE China) University of Science and Technology in me- chanical design and manu- facturing automation, and a masters degree in elec- tronic engineering.
