Swiss company, LEMO has acquired
Northwire Inc (NWI) the US manufacturer
of wire and multi-conductor cable and
retractiles for the medical, aerospace and
defense, energy, and industrial markets.

Custom cable
acquisition
Czaplinka-based
industrial
cables
manufacturer Kabel Technik Polska (KTP),
part of the Inter Auto Groclin group, is set to
expand, creating at least 150 new jobs.
KTP, which operates plants at Drawsko
Pomorskie and Białogard producing
cables and cable harnesses for a range
of industries, is planning capital investment
of over €650,000 in the district north west
of Poznań, Poland. The project will be
completed by August 2015, and the
company has undertaken to maintain the
new level of employment at the site up to
2020.
KTP’s latest investment is part of a major
expansion program, developing business
with customers in the automotive
manufacturing, wind energy, and aviation
industries.
