Cable entry simplified

is available immediately and the seven- entry and ten-entry kits will be available later in 2019.

Lutze Inc’s Cablefix ® One kits simplify the configuration of cable entry systems.

Get it taped Ridgway Machines has designed a three- bay horizontal cableandconductor taping line to apply a variety of tape materials to cables and conductors ranging from 3.2mm (0.13″) to 11.68mm (0.5″) in diameter. The taping bays are fitted with twin servo- controlled concentric taping heads capable of applying tapes including PTFE, mica, paper, Nomex ® , polyester, aluminum/Mylar and Kapton ® from flat pads or cross wound (universal) pads. The taping heads are designed to accept a maximum flat tape pad outer diameter of 508mm and a maximum size for a cross wound pad of 203.2mm x 88.9mm. An HMI control panel allows for fine adjustments to the head speeds, taping lap and jog movement to ensure a consistent taping performance. The taping line is supplied complete with traversing pay-off drum stand to accept a full load weight of 500kg, pull-through caterpillar with a pulling force of 227kgf, and traversing take-up drum stand with conductor tension and layering control.

Cablefix One kits are the latest addition to the Cablefix range.

The cable management system features a multi-layered seal design that allows individual layers to be removed to vary the clamping range of the seals from 3.5mm to 29.5mm. Cablefix One is available in three pre- configured kits, complete with all the components necessary to seal four, seven or ten entry points, depending on the version. The kits remove the need for cumbersome seal configuration, make ordering easy, and reduce the number of part numbers on drawings, BOMs, and in inventory. Cablefix One also provides excellent strain relief (per EN 62444) to secure cables against accidental pullout. The system protects up to UL type 4X, 12, 13 and IP65. Mounting the frame to the cabinet is made easy by using a cutout template or by using a standard 112x46mm punch tool. The four-entry kit (p/n 606500) Unused seals are closed by default, so no blanking plugs are needed.
