Wire, cable and tube conference

The first major gathering designed to boost wire and cable trade and productivity across Africa will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, between 11 th and 13 th November. Co-organized and hosted by CRU and the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK), the inaugural CRU Africa Wire, Cable and Tube conference is an opportunity for the international wire, cable, tube and pipe supply chain to meet and establish new trade partnerships with key African stakeholders.

Discussions at the conference will explore the main trends impacting the global markets, and the implications for Africa. Delegates will also be updated on the expected consumption trends for wire and cable products in mining, utilities, oil and gas, construction and infrastructure within the African market. The agenda will include a day of technical showcases, and a site visit to the Robor Steel Tube and Pipe manufacturing plant.
