Acquisition has a view to 5G

Custom Cable Services Inc (CCS) of Birmingham, Alabama, has beenacquired by Attis Industries in a $4.6 million deal. A press statement said that CCS, a broadband network construction and maintenance firm operating mainly in the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest markets, will become a subsidiary and its existing management team will remain in place. Attis Industries’ CEO, Jeff Cosman, predicts that nationwide 5G infrastructure improvements will have an effect on the nation similar to the expansion of the railroad in the nineteenth century.

“The acquisition of Custom Cable is the first step in building a vital infrastructure company under the Attis banner. When an investor now looks at Attis Industries, they see a company focused on fulfilling essential needs in healthcare, energy independence and digital communications.” Attis is described as a technology holding firm with an emphasis on renewable fuels, bio-based plastics and healthcare, and building a communications infrastructure. The new subsidiary, to be called Attis Infrastructure, will pursue a strategy to consolidate 5G infrastructure companies.
